8 months old and oh my, we have busy babies!

So we ordered this mat floor for the babies, they absolutely love it. When we put all the tiles together, they were all over it, colors, textures and we have the alphabet and shapes too. This is what they sit and play on. Easy clean up and padded for those accidental falls.
This is the new thing with the twins, pulling themselves up on anything or anyone! Charlotte has fully mastered this cool trick, Grayson is still trying. Charlotte stood up twice a few days ago without furniture! I called Jared at work and said we should start planning their 13th birthday, he asked why? I told him his daughter stands up now! Before crawling forward folks!
So 8 months old now, they scoot, crawl backwards, Charlotte last night mastered crawling forward, and she is fast, let me tell you. The baby gate is up and they are sectioned off into our living room which is pretty empty now, just furniture!
So happy together!
He is my ham-bone!
She is my cheese-ball!

Like father like son. This was the babies first wedding. Their cousin Stella got married on Saturday. They did great. They loved the church!
Hello world! Standing on mommies lap!
Aunt Theressa and Charlotte. This is Charlottes typical camera face!

Talk, talk, talk! 7 1/2 months and growing!

So if you can't tell by now, the children were born into a U of M family! Grandpa is going to the game Saturday, maybe someday he will get to take Charlotte and Grayson. Have fun at the Big House!

All they really wanted to do with their jerseys was eat the pretty shiny fabric! They will understand the true meaning of Saturday afternoons football games in a few years. Will be teaching them the fight song as soon as they can sing! Go Blue!

So Grayson has overcome his first viral infection turned ear infection. He was at the doctor's office, ER, and back to the doctor's office in 4 days time, but managed to gain 2 pounds in a month-19.1 lbs. His poor bottom is paying the repercussions now. Chapped, hot, miserable. Poor little man, but he is all smiles and a happy little man again. He gladly says Da-da now, which I think was way too much fun for his daddy. Grayson loves to rock back and forth on all fours, and has taken a couple of strides, but to no avail. Any day we will have a rock star crawler amongst us. Go Gray Go!

Our little Charlotte, finally broke her 2nd tooth threw, it just didn't want to poke threw, but she handled it like a trooper! Sleeping through the night 4-5 nights last week, we were on cloud nine, as her brother was so sick and up every 1-2 hours. She might just stand up and walk on us, she likes to get on all fours and and stand with her butt in the air, legs straight, arms straight, but can't quite lift up that head of hers! She has also started to enjoy calling her dad Da-da, non-stop. She no longers asks for her Ma-ma though?

Too funny, they wrestle each other to get to the camera! Pretty funny to sit and watch. Grayson actually clotheslined her and plopped right down on her belly like he was pinning her for the count 1-2-3! And she screamed, until she saw the camera! All smiles after that..

Shiny happy people! What a year it has been so far. They have changed so much, they look more and more alike each day, but still different. Their personalities keep evolving and is enchanting to watch. They hold conversations with each other and we wish we could understand their babble. We hope you all have a great Labor day holiday. Take Care.

Our 1st vacation with the babies/7 months

Charlotte, Cole, and Grayson, hanging out in Aunt Danielle & Uncle Ted's backyard. The trip was great, the kids pretty much slept the whole way down, and slept wonderfully that night.
Grayson loving Cole's swing, we wanted to try it out to see if we should go buy one! What do you think? I don't think there is one photo of him that he wasn't cheesin!

Hanging out on the blanket, just enjoying the weather and the company.

Charlotte wasn't too sure about this swing but we call this her Roller Coaster hair photo.

Oh no, what's wrong with Charlotte?

Nothing's really wrong, she was just having a moment, this was literally 2 seconds after above photo!

Handsome boy!

Da-daaaa! So the twins both have teeth, love to sit and play and conversate with each other. They sometimes don't even realize the world around them it seems. I wonder what they think about each other? They love to take each others toys, and hit each other with them too. 6 month check up was great, all is well with our babies, doc said they were very big for twins, and to keep doing what we're doing!

1st tooth

So Grayson hasn't been sleeping the best since Sunday, 6 months old day, he has been kind of whiny but nothing to crazy, we figured he was teething, well, he was cutting 2 teeth, his to bottom fronts, yeah!!!! We are so excited, Charlotte must be getting ready to do the same thing, because she has been rather whiny as well. Will keep you all posted..

Happy 4th of July, 6 months old!

So we went downtown for the parade this year.......
There really was a parade going on 5 feet in front of them.
I guess all the commotion before the parade was just too much.

Family portrait, AWE!!! Seriously, I wonder what they are thinking about.

Happy 4th, 2008
Happy babies
Grayson and Mommy at Grandma & Grandpa's new house, we
lost power on the 2nd of July, and it was to be out till the 5th so
we moved into their house.
I think this speaks for itself, Charlotte jumping in her jump-a-roo
both babies are too funny in this thing, I remember the 1st time we put them in it,
compared to now, holy cow, I can't believe that thing holds up to the abuse.
Our 1st day swimming, went to Aunt Shirley's pool and the twins
were instant swimmers, kicking and flailing about, so much fun.

Just cheeks, that's all I can say. Jared and I were grilling out on the deck
and the kids were hanging out with us.
Just another day at home, with lots of personality.

5 months old & a Snapping Turtle!

So along with the rest of our wildlife, Silvio found this Momma Snapper, she was getting ready to lay her eggs in our yard. At least Jared didn't find this one! She later walked over towards the ravine to lay her babies. Smart turtle, Silvio probably would of dug them up.
Just another happy moment for the kiddies. They are getting so big, their personalities are out of this world. This past week the latest way of communication is to growl, they will growl to each other, and their father also gets involved in the mix. Very funny to listen to and watch..
Oh how I love my ducky. Grayson is very intune with his feet-if he is unable to reach with his hands, he will grab anything with his toes or he presses his feet together and brings objects to his hands or mouth. He is very determined when he sets his sights on toys. Jared and I play with the twins daily on the floor trying to get their chunky butts to roll over, and yesterday, Jared put Grayson on his tummy and he rolls to his back.. YEAH!They love to hang out with each other. Most of the time. Charlotte likes to steal Graysons toys from him, she doesn't like to work hard for anything, she gets very frustrated very quickly, and Grayson will try and try and try till he gets what he wants. Oh what the future holds for us..

She was coming to get me, Charlotte loves to push with her feet, she will be a full time scooter before we know it. Can't wait!
Just happy, healthy and cute as can be.

4 & 1/2 months already!

Daddy is always sleeping on the job. She was laying there with her arm under his neck and it was too dang cute! She loves her daddy!!

The introduction of cereal, this is too fun. They like their new food, but it takes some getting used to. Grayson loves to eat in general so this is going to get really interesting with all the new food groups to come. We went to the doctor on 5/15/08, Grayson weighed in at 15lbs 2.5oz and was 25.5 inches long, he is in the 75% for his age in height and 50% for his weight. Doctor was very happy with his progress and how happy of a baby he is.
Her cheeks are totally out of this world, sometimes they look like they are holding her shoulders in place, and the other times they look normal. She gets camera shy sometimes too. Her doctor stats are 15lbs 0oz. & 24.5 inches long, Charlotte is in the 75% for her weight & 50% for her height. Again doc was happy with progress and how happy she is, they played together for the whole visit on the table-Our visits take an hour-hour and 1/2, so they did very well..

Time for our walk... The twins have gotten the hang of goin out for a stroll. They enjoy it more than before, they look around and explore the surroundings now, before they would just sleep.

My happy babies, 1st thing in the morning, I kept asking them, "who told you that you were the cutest babies ever", and they just kept laughing at their Momma! No, I don't let them hang out with out shirts on, but they had both just spit up all over their PJ's, very common for us.

The battle of the babies, Walker vs. Exersaucer!!! Grayson absolutely loves making all that noise, Charlotte just stared at him, I think she was a little jealous. She cranks out the noise in the saucer too. They love their activities, they love to kick and punch and are trying their hardest at rolling over, but they are pretty healthy and their weight just keeps on rolling them back. Soon, very soon, we practice everyday on helping them to push their weight over.

Hello Spring

Daddy's cutest Tiger fan #1, and Grayson knows it!
Cutest Tiger fan #2, she doesn't know it yet like Grayson does..
This pic is an exact of me when I was this age, I just had more hair. Charlotte is definitely an independent child, she wants it her way, right away. I got on the scale with them last week and she was about 16 pounds. It is so amazing at how much personality she has, she talks, then it escalates to this singing/shrilling and she makes her self laugh when she does it. She is very much into being spoken to, entertained I should say. She can sit up in her highchair, and her bumbo no problem. Charlotte is still very much a rollie-pollie, she definitely isn't missing any meals these days! Can't wait till she learns what self soothing is?? Pray for this please, b/c this child hasn't the faintest idea how to soothe at all. And to top it all off, both babies are starting to get their choppers in (teeth), when we started calling her bubbles as an infant I had no idea how true the nickname would be. DROOL should be her middle name.... Doctors appt 5-15-08 for their 4 month shots and stuff. Can't wait.
Grayson, looks like his daddy, hair color but his face isn't as long as Jared's was when he was a baby. He is such a wonderful little man, my "cake" baby. He is the polar opposite of his sister still. He will hang out and just watch as we scramble to appease his twin sister. He weighed about 17 pounds last week and I measured him yesterday and I came up with about 26 inches long. He is so lengthy, but still has kankles (fatty ankles) he is rather rollie-pollie too. He is going to roll over any day, he tries and tries, gets half way and flops back over. He loves to sit up, anyway, anywhere he pulls up neck first trying to sit up all by hisself, I tell him soon buddy, don't rush it. Grayson is the most smiling, happy, lover ever. He loves to show you how much he loves you, gums all day just smiles, smiles, smiles. He likes to laugh as well, his daddy will tell him a story and this kid just cuts up laughing, you can't help but laugh yourself too! Thank the Lord he is so passive, I don't know what we would do with 2 Charlottes!!!!
I had this picture printed in Sepia and it is so cute, but they are cute anyway. They look like their cheeks are too heavy for their heads.. Well, I can tell you, taking twins to a photo shoot was a serious workout, I told the poor girl, look, we have to finish before I have a melt down, the kids were great, Mom was a little overwhelmed!!! But it was all worth it. Hope you enjoy the new photos. Will keep you posted. All our love***The Knox Family***

13 Weeks and Cute as ever!! (If I do say so myself)

They are getting so big, they sit up and watch the world go by, they are interested in everything that has color and sound. They love their activity pad, kicking and punching all their mobile animals.. Where did the time go.

Bath time last night, I don't have any pictures with my kids really, since I am always behind the cameras! Yesterday was my first day back to work! I missed them, but it was such a relief to use my brain for something besides babies!!

First time in their stroller, they were sleeping the entire ride! Fresh air did us all some good! Can't wait to do it everyday!
They actually really like sitting in their Bumbo's, and we don't have to cheat, they aren't laying in them or propped up, they hang out all by theirselves.

11 Weeks ALREADY?!?!?!

Charlotte Rose a.k.a Bubbles
Grayson Phillip a.k.a Froggy
She just wasn't feeling this pose!
I think they are just the cutest!! Big blue eyes, lips & cheeks.
Charlotte & Grayson

Went to their 2 month check up last week Friday and the babies are very healthy. Charlotte weighed in at 11lbs 9oz 22.5 inches long, she was in the 50-75% for her weight & 25-50% for height. Grayson weighed in at 11lbs 7oz and 23 inches long, he was 25-50% for weight & height. Doc is very happy with their progress. They talk, they laugh, smile, love their activity mat and definately know who their mom and dad are! Grayson is such a happy easy going little man-I couldn't ask for a better child. Charlotte is also a very happy, yet demanding little girl, she doesn't like to nap during the day, for she may miss something, but Grayson is like his dad in the Zzzzz's department, this kid can sleep anytime, anywhere. (Thank Goodness!)
Well we hope you all had a fabulous Easter and your doing well.
Kisses from the Knox Family!
