Hello Spring

This pic is an exact of me when I was this age, I just had more hair. Charlotte is definitely an independent child, she wants it her way, right away. I got on the scale with them last week and she was about 16 pounds. It is so amazing at how much personality she has, she talks, then it escalates to this singing/shrilling and she makes her self laugh when she does it. She is very much into being spoken to, entertained I should say. She can sit up in her highchair, and her bumbo no problem. Charlotte is still very much a rollie-pollie, she definitely isn't missing any meals these days! Can't wait till she learns what self soothing is?? Pray for this please, b/c this child hasn't the faintest idea how to soothe at all. And to top it all off, both babies are starting to get their choppers in (teeth), when we started calling her bubbles as an infant I had no idea how true the nickname would be. DROOL should be her middle name.... Doctors appt 5-15-08 for their 4 month shots and stuff. Can't wait.
Grayson, looks like his daddy, hair color but his face isn't as long as Jared's was when he was a baby. He is such a wonderful little man, my "cake" baby. He is the polar opposite of his sister still. He will hang out and just watch as we scramble to appease his twin sister. He weighed about 17 pounds last week and I measured him yesterday and I came up with about 26 inches long. He is so lengthy, but still has kankles (fatty ankles) he is rather rollie-pollie too. He is going to roll over any day, he tries and tries, gets half way and flops back over. He loves to sit up, anyway, anywhere he pulls up neck first trying to sit up all by hisself, I tell him soon buddy, don't rush it. Grayson is the most smiling, happy, lover ever. He loves to show you how much he loves you, gums all day just smiles, smiles, smiles. He likes to laugh as well, his daddy will tell him a story and this kid just cuts up laughing, you can't help but laugh yourself too! Thank the Lord he is so passive, I don't know what we would do with 2 Charlottes!!!!
I had this picture printed in Sepia and it is so cute, but they are cute anyway. They look like their cheeks are too heavy for their heads.. Well, I can tell you, taking twins to a photo shoot was a serious workout, I told the poor girl, look, we have to finish before I have a melt down, the kids were great, Mom was a little overwhelmed!!! 13 Weeks and Cute as ever!! (If I do say so myself)

They are getting so big, they sit up and watch the world go by, they are interested in everything that has color and sound. They love their activity pad, kicking and punching all their mobile animals.. Where did the time go.

Bath time last night, I don't have any pictures with my kids really, since I am always behind the cameras! Yesterday was my first day back to work! I missed them, but it was such a relief to use my brain for something besides babies!!

First time in their stroller, they were sleeping the entire ride! Fresh air did us all some good! Can't wait to do it everyday!

They actually really like sitting in their Bumbo's, and we don't have to cheat, they aren't laying in them or propped up, they hang out all by theirselves.

11 Weeks ALREADY?!?!?!

Went to their 2 month check up last week Friday and the babies are very healthy. Charlotte weighed in at 11lbs 9oz 22.5 inches long, she was in the 50-75% for her weight & 25-50% for height. Grayson weighed in at 11lbs 7oz and 23 inches long, he was 25-50% for weight & height. Doc is very happy with their progress. They talk, they laugh, smile, love their activity mat and definately know who their mom and dad are! Grayson is such a happy easy going little man-I couldn't ask for a better child. Charlotte is also a very happy, yet demanding little girl, she doesn't like to nap during the day, for she may miss something, but Grayson is like his dad in the Zzzzz's department, this kid can sleep anytime, anywhere. (Thank Goodness!)

7 Weeks and growing......

I got on the scale today with Charlotte and she weighs at least 10lbs! Still has big blue eyes and lots of rolls! She is our little aggressive girl-she will tell you what is on her mind! We had a rollercoaster ride with her the past couple weeks, Jared called it "The Witching Hour" she would scream for a couple of minutes, coo for the next few minutes and this would go on and on, until we started to put her in the bath tub! The past two nights, no witching hour! Thank goodness.

She definately has a big personality! Her and her brother are so much alike, yet so very different-Polar opposites!
Mr. Grayson is also at least 10 lbs (our scale doesn't weigh in ounces). He is very laid back, and loves to love ya! He will pretty much lay around anywhere you put him. He loves to look out our windows into the ravine! He loves music as does his sister. He also will tell you what he wants, but in a much different manner than his sister. Huge personality, just cute as could be! He will talk, talk, talk to you and he loves his hands! I think he has his own magic show somedays (all in his head)

Happy Valentine's Day

They are so calm looking here, it had been a very long day for our family-the children were restless all day thank goodness for help... My parents came over with dinner, and then Jared and I took a nap. Surprisingly, they slept like angels that night!

Hello all, hope your enjoying our fabulous winter weather! In times like these I wonder why we all don't migrate south for the winter! Anywho, just wanted to update you all with some new pictures and new baby news. At the Twins 2 week check up (almost two weeks ago) they were free of Jaundice even though their eyes still look alittle yellow, and Grayson weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19 1/4 inches long, and Charlotte was 7 lbs 1oz and also is 19 1/4 inches long. The Pediatrician was very happy with how "content" the babies were, and says they are doing great.

The twins are very much different but very much alike, Grayson is the most loveable and sweetest baby, he loves to relax and love on you, where as his sister "Miss Priss" (her father gave her that name) is very much in need of full time attention, if she isn't sleeping, she wants to be on you, otherwise she is not happy-Lord help us-Please...

Jared and I are have quite the routine down at night time, whether the babies want to stick with it or not. We have had lots of help from our family and friends, and we appreciate every bit of it!! We probably wouldn't be sane if we didn't have the support. Well here are some new photos, we hope you enjoy them. I was going to do announcements, maybe I will get to that in the next couple of weeks, right?

Our beautiful little babies...

Well if you haven' t heard the latest addition to our family has arrived. On January 7th at 6:24pm Charlotte Rose Knox joined this world at a hefty 6lbs 2oz and standing 19 inches long, followed very closely by her baby brother Grayson Phillip Knox at a chunky 6lbs 8oz and also 19 inches long. The delivery was after waiting 30 hours in the hospital to figure out if my uterus was going to work or not, and it didn't so we had a c-section. Jared was back in the recovery room watching LSU vs. OSU in the national title game-feeding the babies since I could not, and holding his son watching his team win the title was a teary moment-I wouldn't know, I was in a drug induced sleep-but from what he said, this event was touching! Everyone is healthy, happy, and sleeping very well actually. We were released from the hospital on Thursday late afternoon and back to the doctors on Friday morning for their Post-Birth wellness check and the babies are doing great! We wanted to Thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, visits to our hospital room, phone calls, flowers and cards-we love you all so very much and hope to see you all soon. New Year's Eve 2007/Week 36

Here is a picture of my husbands new friend. For those of you who don't know, Jared has

the most peculiar luck with wildlife, if it is in our yard, it will find him. In this case, the dogs found this Opossum and brought it to the front door, when my husband went to the door to let them in, he started to freak out, you had to be there, I really almost wet my pants, I told him to grab the camera b/c we needed proof, so as he is outside snapping shots of this wonderful creature, it was alive-Playin Opossum as they say, and as soon as Jared turned to walk in our house, the Opossum got up and took off! You should of heard Jared-it is almost impossible to be this pregnant and laugh like that, I could of used a diaper!

36 weeks and still cookin'!

35 weeks and the shirts are getting shorter!

****Went to the doctor's again 12-31-07, still dilated to a one, babies are approximately 6lbs 3oz each, we had a non-stress test, and both babies were in great shape, heartbeats ranged from 120's to 170's, we go back on Friday to have another stress test and if I am dilated more, they will strip my membranes (never thought I would ever talk about that) otherwise we are almost 100% sure we will schedule something for Monday, if we make it that long. Hoping we go sooner but Grayson and Charlotte will be worth the wait... I gained 4 more pounds during the weeks of Christmas, 33 altogether-can't wait to see how much I gain by Friday.****

WEEK 36. The final countdown

Happy Holidays to all-Hope all of you have a fabulous kick off to your New Year. Wanted to update you on the Twin Status...

Well Jared and I went to the hospital last night to see if it was really time to have these babies. But they sent me home. I was contracting every ten minutes for 2 hours but no dilation! Charlotte is still in position, but my cervix is now behind her, which I might add was very painful.. So delivery is just around the corner for us! We did get to see that both babies are head down so surgery as of right now is not in my immediate future! YEAH!!! Will keep you all posted, we have an appointment on Monday, Group B Strep, Ultrasound, Exam, and Non-stress test-if we don't have babies by then! Kisses.

Week 34-Momma's gettin' restless!

Well hello all-just a quick update for you. Went to the doc's last Monday, had gained 4.5 lbs in a week, and measured 43 weeks along. Babies heartbeats were great and we thought Grayson flipped back to the head down position.. But we weren't sure (no ultrasound) Went to the doc's office again today 12.17.07 and gained 2 oz. (isn't that crazy-I just knew they would tell me I gained another 5 lbs) I am dilated to a fingertip or 1 cm whichever you prefer-and that little Charlotte is sitting on top of my cervix locked in position ready to see the world. As far as the doctor could feel through my belly Grayson is head down!! Yeah (f0r now anyway) both babies heartbeats were between 128-142 just like always, my blood pressure is still just as consistent-112/64 and all is well in the Knox womb. Doctor said if we could make it 10 more days he would be very happy! That in turn makes us happy. Will find out more next Monday, Christmas Eve and will keep you updated. We hope you all have a safe and joyous Holiday Season. We love you all..

Week 33, nursery, and new baby pics.

Here is one picture of the nursery-with the lighting and the flash, the pictures were either too yellow or too dark, but you get the gist. Rainforest theme, the wood carved giraffe in

Here are out other children-AKA "Momma's Boys"Indy on the left and Silvio on the right.

They love the nursery, always sniffing around to see if there is anything new in there-I can't wait to see how they react to these babies, they are already

so inquisitive. But one thing is for sure, they are always very close to their Momma's sideHere is a shot of Charlotte, we got this picture and then Grayson's foot just kept kicking her in the face. Yes that's right, the face, Grayson has flipped on us and is in the breech position. We couldn't get a good shot of her after this. Charlotte is weighing in at 4 lbs. 5 oz, and her brother the acrobat is weighing in at 4 lbs. 7 oz. Both of their heartbeats were still strong, and you could see in the ultrasound video all of Graysons hair. Both Jared and I were bald babies so it will be interesting to see who looks like who-I still go with my dreams, a blonde and a brunette. You can see his foot in her face here, shortly after this shot, he kicked her so hard her little head rolled to the side twice, and then in a very dramatic movement she rolled over, she had clearly had enough of his abuse! Our poor child probably has bruises already!

If you look closely-Grayson seems to be scratching his behind here. You can see his little butt crack and his index finger! Nurses kept coming in our room to see this picture, because they had heard about the "Butt Scratcher" interesting day at the doctor's office.. We aren't sure if we are going to schedule a C-section or wait and see what happens. They still have plenty of fluid in there and he may flip back, but the doc didn't seem to optimistic-I will be 36 weeks the day before Jared's birthday, December 20th and am hoping I can deliver soon after that. The latest doc will let me carry these two is January 17th-Ouch.. Will keep you posted as we go once a week now to the doc's office. Keep us in your prayers please. Love!

Week 32 and counting..............

I am now measuring 46 inches around-2 more and

I will be 4 feet folks-it doesn't seem possible,

but the tape measure doesn't lie.....

come by, Charlotte is face down towards my
back, so we may not see her cute little face again
until she is born. And Grayson likes to hide his profile
as well. We go to the doctor on Monday and get
another Ultrasound, will post any new news,
along with the finished Nursery pics.

My belly is definitely getting bigger..

We measured at 38 weeks on Monday.

Went to the doctor on Monday, all is well in my buddha. The babies both gained weight but Mom lost 2 lbs. (Due to being sick for the last two weeks). I passed my Gestational Diabetes test but my sugar was too high-Practitioner told me to cut back on my sweets, and Jared backed me up, explaining I am not a big sweets eater-But we did figure out I am consuming entirely too much juice. My iron levels are through the roof, which is awesome for me, I haven' been able to give blood in years b/c my iron levels were so low. Our Ultrasound lady Lori let us know we still have tons of room in the baby's sacs to grow, which is awesome. I was starting to wonder where I was going to get more room from.... OUCH! Doc says if we make it to 36 weeks-he will be happy!! Which in our calculations is 12/30/07-1/3/08. Will keep you all posted..

We had a great time.

It was so hot that day-but turned out to be a perfect evening.

So I danced at the wedding, quite a bit actually-but there was only

so much I could do with my buddha-A girl gets tired after a while.

Thank goodness for our girlfriends! Jared didn't have much trouble

finding a dancing partner with these two around. Thanks Chicas!

Week 24 Belly Pictures

So Jared and I measured the circumference of my belly and I am at a whopping 43.5 inches-And as my good friend Bonnie pointed out to me-That is almost 4 ft around. Thanks!!! I am only going to get bigger-Much bigger. As long as the buddha is beautiful I will keep pics posted-I don't want to scare anyone with it! For Halloween I should just paint it like a pumpkin and walk around! Just kidding.... We go back to the doctor on the 11th of this month and get new pictures-YEAH. Will keep you posted. Trip to Louisiana went very well. We are home safe and sound. Jared got to see his family and we also celebrated his Grandma Maggies 88th birthday with a fabulous dinner and lots of family members. We also had dinner with his Grandma Roselyn Knox, and Jared's Dad & Marsha drove in so we could see them as well.. All in all the trip was a great success, Jared's Mom & Popps surprised everyone, they drove down with us-their arrival went over very well!!
