Week 34-Momma's gettin' restless!
Well hello all-just a quick update for you. Went to the doc's last Monday, had gained 4.5 lbs in a week, and measured 43 weeks along. Babies heartbeats were great and we thought Grayson flipped back to the head down position.. But we weren't sure (no ultrasound) Went to the doc's office again today 12.17.07 and gained 2 oz. (isn't that crazy-I just knew they would tell me I gained another 5 lbs) I am dilated to a fingertip or 1 cm whichever you prefer-and that little Charlotte is sitting on top of my cervix locked in position ready to see the world. As far as the doctor could feel through my belly Grayson is head down!! Yeah (f0r now anyway) both babies heartbeats were between 128-142 just like always, my blood pressure is still just as consistent-112/64 and all is well in the Knox womb. Doctor said if we could make it 10 more days he would be very happy! That in turn makes us happy. Will find out more next Monday, Christmas Eve and will keep you updated. We hope you all have a safe and joyous Holiday Season. We love you all..

Week 33, nursery, and new baby pics.
Here is a shot of Charlotte, we got this picture and then Grayson's foot just kept kicking her in the face. Yes that's right, the face, Grayson has flipped on us and is in the breech position. We couldn't get a good shot of her after this. Charlotte is weighing in at 4 lbs. 5 oz, and her brother the acrobat is weighing in at 4 lbs. 7 oz. Both of their heartbeats were still strong, and you could see in the ultrasound video all of Graysons hair. Both Jared and I were bald babies so it will be interesting to see who looks like who-I still go with my dreams, a blonde and a brunette.
You can see his foot in her face here, shortly after this shot, he kicked her so hard her little head rolled to the side twice, and then in a very dramatic movement she rolled over, she had clearly had enough of his abuse! Our poor child probably has bruises already!
If you look closely-Grayson seems to be scratching his behind here. You can see his little butt crack and his index finger! Nurses kept coming in our room to see this picture, because they had heard about the "Butt Scratcher" interesting day at the doctor's office.. We aren't sure if we are going to schedule a C-section or wait and see what happens. They still have plenty of fluid in there and he may flip back, but the doc didn't seem to optimistic-I will be 36 weeks the day before Jared's birthday, December 20th and am hoping I can deliver soon after that. The latest doc will let me carry these two is January 17th-Ouch.. Will keep you posted as we go once a week now to the doc's office. Keep us in your prayers please. Love!Posted by Beth Knox at 8:17:00 PM 3 comments

Week 32 and counting..............
and run errands and not freeze-
My dogs are like "where are we going
Mom??"
I forgot I had this great ultrasound photo, thisis from October 11th, but if you look closely,
Grayson's foot is in Charlotte's face! Too cute.
Can you see the line of the placenta that cuts
between them? Ultrasound pics are harder to
come by, Charlotte is face down towards my
back, so we may not see her cute little face again
until she is born. And Grayson likes to hide his profile
as well. We go to the doctor on Monday and get
another Ultrasound, will post any new news,
along with the finished Nursery pics.

Week 24 Belly Pictures
So Jared and I measured the circumference of my belly and I am at a whopping 43.5 inches-And as my good friend Bonnie pointed out to me-That is almost 4 ft around. Thanks!!! I am only going to get bigger-Much bigger. As long as the buddha is beautiful I will keep pics posted-I don't want to scare anyone with it! For Halloween I should just paint it like a pumpkin and walk around! Just kidding.... We go back to the doctor on the 11th of this month and get new pictures-YEAH. Will keep you posted. Trip to Louisiana went very well. We are home safe and sound. Jared got to see his family and we also celebrated his Grandma Maggies 88th birthday with a fabulous dinner and lots of family members. We also had dinner with his Grandma Roselyn Knox, and Jared's Dad & Marsha drove in so we could see them as well.. All in all the trip was a great success, Jared's Mom & Popps surprised everyone, they drove down with us-their arrival went over very well!!

Week 24 (sorry forgot this)
We aren't sure but Charlotte may of turned while we were gone, I had a day of PAIN while in Louisiana and most of the day I had a huge bulge on my left side, which in my eyes could of been her little body bent in half. The babies can now be seen with the naked eye, bouncing around my belly-we can't make out what the body parts are yet but you can definately see them. Grayson is my Morning Mover-as soon as I wake up and roll over in bed he is just a going. I think they are either interacting with each other in the womb or they are already fighting, they will answer each others movements back and forth.

BRAXTON HICKS at 22W 6D!
Had my first confrontation with BRAXTON HICKS this morning. Sitting at work and felt like my Buddha was in a vise! This started at 6:30AM and is still going! My poor children are getting squeezed... Doctor said go home and lay down, did anyone else go home and lay down? I didn't, but I didn't work a 13 hour day either, I went home earlier than normal.
We are leaving for Louisiana tomorrow, 13 hour drive with stops every 1.5 - 2 hours per doctors orders, so cross your fingers the trip goes smoothly. I will post pictures when we get home next week.

Week 22
Went to the doctor this morning, my belly is measuring at 31 weeks, one month ago I was at 25. Kathy our Practitioner said I look great and to keep doing what I am doing. I have gained 12.6 pounds to date, my blood pressure is 104/60 and all is well. The doctor looked at all our ultrasounds from week 20 and the twins measurements. Both babies are looking wonderful in accordance with due date weight, length, organs, and their spines. Heart rates were still very consistent Grayson was beating between 138-150 beats/min and Charlotte was 130-143 beats/min.
So Jared was able to feel both babies moving last night for the 1st time, pretty much at the same time, they are very active babies, and it seems like I am at work or he is at work when I have the most movement. This morning when we were getting up to go to our doctor's appt, I grabbed his hand and put it on my stomach above Grayson, and WHAM-he totally HI-Fived Jared. Way tooooo cool... The Practitioner said from our Ultrasounds that Charlottes placenta is in the back and Graysons is in the front, that is why I feel her Kung-Fu fighting all the time, Grayson is way more mellow like his Father! My Mom said that my children would come back ten fold to be like me! Let's see if she is right-Poor Jared, if Charlotte is like her Mother...

The best of both worlds!
So we went to get the BIG ultrasound to find out what these babies of ours are and both babies were in the tuck position! Not happy. Our Ultrasound lady Lori kept going with her other business of measurements and sizes of the twins. She finally came across a shot of "between the legs on baby A-and we have a GIRL, in the breech position, heart rate was 136. Then she had me use the restroom b/c my bladder was getting in the way, and we got a clear-VERY CLEAR picture of baby B-and we have a BOY! He is in the down position, and heart rate is 143.
Lori said both babies are weighing in at 11 ounces and look wonderfully healthy. They were moving around and what a sight to see. Extraordinarily breathtaking is my only words for today's experience... She tried a 3-D just b/c there is room in the sacs to actually see them, but they looked like little Jack-o-lantern faces. We have a slim to none chance of getting 3-d ultrasound pics b/c there is 2 babies.

First look at the Knox Twins!

I already thought something wasn't right because my abdomen was too big and I felt overly fat for the end of my first trimester, but now, I don't have to suck it in because these babies are right on with their size and heartbeat rate!! (both babies 146 beats/minute) Baby A is on my right and Baby B is on the left.
